News from CLZ – K9 Unit

Posted on in News, Wildlife

During their 10 weeks training, CLZ’s K9 Unit have been working hard and are now ready for the field .

The two new dogs, Kalo and Amor, have been imprinted on firearms, ammunition, ivory, rhino horn, bushmeat and pangolin scales enabling them to successfully conduct operational open area searches for forensic evidence, vehicle checkpoints and baggage searches.

They have now progressed to low-risk operations in the field for practical learning and to further reinforce their training.
