Chanda is a geographer and environmental scientist by training, who is curious about marrying conservation and meaningful development. She has worked in both the private sector and civil society spaces, specialising in stakeholder engagement, lobby and advocacy, community partnerships, and private sector engagement.

Chanda is passionate about Zambia’s natural capital what can be achieved if more Zambians understand that the natural world is not external to them. She also believes that the future of Zambia’s sustainable development lies in the next generation of thinkers and doers. Questioning the status quo and forging our own path will get us to where we need to be.
