Seya Funfafunda
Seya Fundafunda is currently the Head of Prerecorded Content at Spring TV. As a Zambian filmmaker, Seya is passionate about empowering young Africans to solve African problems. Her credentials include the second Gaffer for the award winning film Suwi – the first ever co-production between Zambia and Finland. She wrote and directed the short film Kayemba in 2010 as part of a three month film internship in Helsinki and she worked as a second Gaffer for the film Unborn which was also shot in Helsinki, Finland in 2010.
Seya was a Production Manager on the Zambian Reality TV show My Own Boss and a Copywriter for the Road Transport and Safety Agency’s Road Smart Media Campaign in 2009. Her recent roles include Production Manager for Zambezi Magic’s hit telenovela Zuba and recording artist and
managing partner in Color Coded Media, where she plans on producing film content that will help change Africa’s narrative. Seya also wants to train young Zambians to produce media content for social justice and conservation awareness programs.
