What can Africa Learn from Brazil?
Join the Bats Without Borders 2nd #WingedWednesday Webinar today, with Dr Hernani Oliveira, who will be talking about the Brazilian savannas (Cerrado), which occupy more than 2 million Km2.
This biodiversity hot spot has a rich bat fauna (~120 bat species), but has suffered high deforestation rates mainly due to cattle ranching and soy bean cultivation. Hernani will be discussing the diversity of bats, their interactions, and their threatened Brazilian savanna habitat.
Hernani’s talk will take place at 15 hrs today, the 20th May, and pre-registration is essential for new participants. To register visit: www.batswithoutborders.org
