Women for Conservation virtual mentoring program
Women for Conservation Zambia is excited to launch its first virtual mentoring program starting on the 25 June 2020 at 1400 to 1500. Eleven incredible conservationists from Zambia, and across the globe, will be available to provide valuable professional advice and skills to early career conservationists in Zambia. The mentoring program will run for six months and each mentor will have monthly meetings with their mentee on different topics.
Three of the Women for Conservation mentors (Patricia Mupeta Muyamwa of The Nature Conservancy, Kaize Griffin Shanungu of the International Crane Foundation and Kristina Kesch of Frankfurt Zoological Society) will be talking briefly about their experience as conservationists and what they hope to offer as mentors.
Being mentored is a valuable and effective development opportunity. Women for Conservation passionately believe that guidance, encouragement, and support from the trusted and experienced mentors will provide a broad range of personal and professional skills leading to personal and professional success in the conservation field.
It is not too late to sign up to become a mentee. For more information and to register for the Zoom Webinar, contact Maina at maina@wcpzambia.org.
